Getting traffic to your websites and blogs are nice, but isn’t it nicer to know how much traffic your hard work pay off? Install Google Analytics will help you check how many visitors to your site a day. The service is free so everybody should be using this already. Installing Google Analytics will also help your new site or blog get indexed by search engines especially Google.
Step 1
Go to
http://www.google.com/analytics
Step 2
Sign up for a Google account if you don’t have one. It’s free.
Step 3
Log in to your account. You will see this:
Copy and paste the script to your website.
In the source of your website, simply paste this code at the bottom section of the page or the footer file. Make sure you paste the code above the </body> tag.
Save and you are done.
This can be done the same way if you use Wordpress (edit the footer file)
